Denim for days

Koh Phangan.

As you guys know, double denim is my favourite. I like it because it's such an easy look to wear especially when you don't want to put too much thought into your outfit, but still want to look stylish. So naturally, I had to take my love of double denim to Thailand.

I went with this cute short sleeve denim shirt from Ralph Lauren. I really like the denim shirts they do every season. The cotton in their denim is so soft and comfortable to wear; very breathable for holidays too. I tied my shirt in a cute knot at the front to add a little detail instead of just the usual 'tucking it in' look. I bought this shirt one size too big so I could tie it or wear it loose and open.

I added a pop of leopard print to this look with this swimsuit I got in H&M last season along with my drop necklace from Missguided. I thought the necklace brought this simple, yet fashionable look together. I really think the pop of leopard and the drop necklace added that little bit oomph to this outfit.

I wore my new favourite denim shorts from Primark here. I forget how much I paid for these guys but I think it was around €13, which is quite reasonable for a nice pair of denim shorts. What I liked about these classic shorts was the colour and the shape. They are a nice high waist, so super comfortable to wear.  Yes I'm all about the comfort. I don't want them sticking into any muffin areas and making me feel pudge resulting in me taking them off and hating them. I love anything high waisted, I think it's much more flattering than anything low/mid rise, especially on my figure. I really liked that there wasn't too much patoody (bum) showing in these shorts either. I don't know about you but the days of my patoody cheeks hanging out of shorts are behind me. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind short shorts, but not SHORT SHORTS if you get me, lol.

Koh tao post up soon,
