Piazzale Michelangelo

Day two.

We walked up to Piazzale Michelangelo on our second day to what was the most magnificent view of Florence. It is completely free to walk up here and see so no excuses not to go. The view is the best of the city. Then we went to a really nice café up here called La Loggia. Such a nice spot, with great food and an amazing view. We could of sat there all day.

That day I wore this really cute floral off the shoulder top from ASOS. I wanted to go for a cool 90s inspired look. I paired this with a denim skirt I got from Primark. I wasn't a fan of the length of the skirt so I cut it. I then frayed the bottom of it to give it an unfinished hem look. I love that look when it comes to denim. I also accessorised this look with my favourite bag of the summer. My woven bag from Primark.

If you're looking for somewhere in Florence for amazing cocktails and yet another cool view, then La Terrazza Continentale is for you. If you know me by now, you know I love a good rooftop bar. Florence is full of them so choosing what ones to go to was hard. We wanted somewhere relaxing, not too fancy yet chick with a fabulous view. La Terrazza Continentale ticked all the right boxes for us. Its location wasn't too far from where we were staying either so extra bonus points. We went around 9pm because we read online that it was the best time to go. It's not too busy and you'll easily get a table. Which was very true. The athmosphereas great and the cocktails were expensive for Italy but normal prices for the city of Florence. They were about €16 each.

Here I am wearing a simple lace dress I own from H&M. I chose lace to go with the romantic feel of the city, especially at night.
