Sparkle season

You either love it or hate it;

I personally love everything about New Years. I love how glam it is, you can wear head to toe sparkle and still not have enough on, everyone is in such good form and it’s a great night for a good boogie.

I ordered three dresses from Topshop and one from Zara, because I couldn’t decide what look I wanted to go with for New Years Eve this year. I was feeling something super glam for sure. One option was a cute one shoulder black dress with a big ruffle going over the shoulder and down the front. I wanted to do this with diamond covered fish net tights, but I couldn’t find any. My second option was a pink metallic dress, and my third was a fitted gold dress with a wrap skirt effect. On the night it was down to the dress I wore and the gold dress . I went with the silver because it was super glam, comfortable to wear, hide my Christmas dinner and made me feel like a million bucks in it.

I paired this look with my favourite sparkly earrings from Zara, a simple black sandal, and my new deep red lippy from Mac. To add to my glam look, I used Bellamianta tan to give me that bronzed look and to cover up my pale pins . I like this tan as it looks so natural on, it dries quickly and it doesn’t smell like curry. I have a very sensitive nose and most tans give me a headache because the scent it too strong. I curled the rings of my hair to give it a natural kick, I also got my hair cut that day and I got more than I was hoping for off, so I felt my hair was too short to do a proper curl through it, I like short hair on everyone but myself. When I left the hairdressers I thought I had a bob and was crying inside, but then it settled in and it’s not as short as I thought.

Did you go all out glam this New Years or were you a sofa bunny.

Happy New Years,

Stephanie xx
